House fic: Touch Therapy (House/Wilson)

Today in "finally getting around to watching DVDs I've had for over ten years" news: House fic! I'm poking at various longer plot ideas, but I'm only up to the beginning of s3 in my rewatch so far, so I've been writing some practice ficlets to prompts that ended up evolving into a longer House/Wilson thing. Set somewhere around season two.

Touch Therapy (10,450 words)

It's not that House needs the human contact. It's just that when you're sharing an apartment, these things happen sometimes.

Wow, this is the first non-Yuletide fic I've posted in years. I've got to try and get back in the habit of writing fic more regularly.

I haven't been posting much either. This "self-supporting adult" thing is a pain.

...no fic, or no writing at all? :-(

I'm still working on my original novels, but I have less free times in the evenings now, and the trouble with fic is that it's often not just finding the time to write, but finding the time to catch up on the canon as well. (I've had some ideas for House fics I've wanted to write for literally years, but I haven't seen the early seasons since they aired and never saw the later ones at all, so some of these fic ideas I need to sit down and watch, like, 150 episodes before I can even start.)

Wow, that's a lot. I haven't seen them since they aired, either, so I'll never know the difference--as long as they feel like House and Wilson, I don't care. And I know you'll get them right. (I think I quit watching around the time they messed up Cuddy.)
